Ben Amos returns from loan at Bolton

Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Amos has returned to the club after completing a loan spell at Bolton Wanderers.

Having initially signed as cover for injured duo Adam Bogdan and Andy Lonergan, the clubs agreed to extend the deal, with Amos going on to feature in nine first-team games for the Championship club.

Amos impressed during his time at the Macron Stadium and was nominated for Wanderers’ Player of the Month award for March.

"[I] really enjoyed my time there, it's a club ready to kick on now and challenge in the years to come," the 24-year-old tweeted. "Thanks to the fans and everyone who made my time at the club so enjoyable. Much appreciated!"
