Louis van Gaal has made one change to the Manchester United side that overcame Aston Villa last weekend, for the derby meeting with City - Chris Smalling is in for Marcos Rojo in the centre of defence.
The England defender missed the 3-1 victory over Villa after being taken ill while on international duty, but is back in today for Rojo, who drops to the bench in place of Andreas Pereira, who is with the Brazil Under-20 squad.
The United XI is the same side that beat Liverpool last month with Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera forming the midfield, with Juan Mata and Ashley Young out wide and Wayne Rooney in attack.
United team: De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Jones, Blind; Carrick, Fellaini, Herrera; Mata, Young, Rooney. Subs: Valdes, Rafael, Rojo, McNair, Januzaj, Di Maria, Falcao.
