Young expects to be fit for Spurs

Ashley Young expects to be fit for Manchester United's Barclays Premier League encounter with Tottenham on Sunday.

The left-sided star has been in good form of late but newspaper reports in midweek suggested he was a major doubt for the weekend because he was seen hobbling away from Old Trafford after the FA Cup defeat to Arsenal.

However, after manager Louis van Gaal indicated only Robin van Persie and possibly Marcos Rojo were injury concerns for the visit of Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs, Young confirmed he should be available for selection.

"I got a little knock in a tackle in the first half against Arsenal," Young told ManUtd.com. "I should be okay. They are fiery games against Arsenal and there were a few tackles flying about but you just dust yourself down and get prepared for the next game."
