Manchester United Under-21s head to the North East to take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Monday, in front of MUTV's live cameras.
Warren Joyce's Reds went top of the table last week and won the reverse fixture 4-0, but that was back in September and only four of the 14 players involved featured in the 0-0 draw with Everton last Tuesday.
Nick Powell, who has been in good form since returning from a loan spell at Leicester City, appeared to pull a hamstring in the first half of the stalemate with the Toffees.
"It's disappointing if he has broken down there," said Joyce afterwards. "He's not had a lot of football really this season and we had a plan in place to build him up.
"We just dust ourselves down and go again. We'll regroup and see who has got knocks and bruises ahead of the game. The matches are coming fast and furious and we're not left with that many players.
"At least the lads are getting plenty of games and the same group are getting 90 minutes."
